Northeast District -
map area 1
Beginning along the north side of the Santa Fe River and continuing along the northern line of Paseo de Peralta, just to the west of 285 up to the foothills of the mountain going toward the Santa Fe ski basin.  This area has both low and highlands within and again neighborhoods with lots ranging from approximately 1/3 of an acre up to some 5 acre parcels with expansive views in all directions.

Eastside District - map area 1
The infamous art gallery district of Canyon Road is the heart of the historic Eastside; by far the most pricey and valued real estate within the Santa Fe city limits.  This area is enclosed by Old Santa Fe Trail on the south side, the Santa Fe River on the north side, from the east of Paseo de Peralta and to the west from the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range.  This area is home to a wide range of architecture, including many of the most historic adobe structures in Santa Fe to some older not so attended more simple structures.  Accommodating the wide spectrum of architecture is a landscape of winding narrow streets, some dirt...some paved, a mixture of newcomers and families that have held there roots here for tens of years and even centuries!!!

Southeast District - map area 3
This neighborhood is located from the limits of the city of Santa Fe north to Garcia Street and to the east of St. Francis.  This are sits above the city on a slope that enables expansive western vistas all across the Jemez Mountains and even further out Old Santa Fe Trail opens up to southern vistas of the Sange De Cristo Mountains.  Many neighborhoods in this area tend to have lots with a little more area between them than those closer in to town.

Gaudalupe District - map area 3
This historic area is located to the southwest of the plaza and sits between Guadalupe west to St. Francis and between Cerrillos Road and Santa Fe River, encompassing the legendary railyard.  This has a very old Mexico yet somewhat European neighborhood feel to it the way the not exactly straightforward grid and tightly interlaced streets wind themselves around each other.  The railyard is touted to be the new up and coming hip area of Santa Fe; hosting a new element of living and commerce, which will consist predominantly of working artists and the Farmer's Market's new home.

South Capitol - map area 3
Bordered on the west by the Old Santa Fe Trail, on the south from the State Capitol buildings at the center of the city all the way to St. Michael's Drive and extends west to St. Francis Drive.  This neighborhood is home to many recent renovations and is a very quiet and quaint side of the city where homes sit rather closely amongst each other along a grid-like street pattern.

Tesuque - NE of City Limits - map area 15
Just north on 285 approximately a 12 minute drive from downtown is one of the most treasured areas of real estate outside the city limits.  Tree-covered properties, some with expansive vistas, some very valuable large horse estates, home to artists seeking seclusion from the city, a small market and school system unto itself are the core of this small village.
